Manor House farm in Dry Drayton had a brewhouse many years ago so it felt great to be putting that tradional skill back into a beautiful village. Replacing a piece of lost history.
In 2011 the brewery set up in an converted dairy/pig farm building and at the same time drew inspiration from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall a talented writer, broadcaster and campaigner, who is widely known for his uncompromising commitment to seasonal, ethically produced food and has earned a huge following through his River Cottage TV series and books.
My ultimate goal was to source as much as we could from our doorstep, so that every brew has a piece of local produce within. Like Honey from Over, and Hops from Swavesey. Local lavender and herbs.
With every brew I hope we have pushed your taste buds to limit.
